BUILDING UPGRADES FOR USDA
This project involved major repairs and upgrades to a 66,000 square foot building in New Orleans, LA which remained occupied during construction. Work included: relocating mechanical and electrical systems within the basement floors of the administration wing, chemical wing, industrial wing, and textile wing; replacing the textile wing and service building roof systems; replacing original steel windows; demolish and replacing an existing stairwell and elevator; providing a new floor structure, partitions, and finishes. Jarrett maintained close coordination with the users during major shutdowns to avoid work disruption to the occupants while maintaining the construction schedule. The project received an Outstanding CCASS rating.
AQUATIC FITNESS CENTER, BUILDING 21608 REPAIRS
The 23,467 square foot Aquatics Fitness Center project in Fort Gordon, GA included repairs and renovations to the entrance, lobby reception area, men's and women's locker rooms, offices, restrooms, corridors, mezzanine, the addition of ADA parking/access, and replacement of glazing/storefront.
MWR STORAGE FACILITY
This 300 square foot pre-engineered metal storage facility in Fort Gordon, GA includes a loading dock to provide necessary facilities to issue sporting equipment and provide administrative support.
C-130 FOM FACILITY
This project at Robins Air Force Base, GA involved the design and construction of a 5,000 square foot pre-engineered metal storage facility for C-130 airplane parts. The 3-sided building contains 4 bays and has CMU block dividing walls. Construction consisted of exterior concrete paving, building concrete, masonry, chain link fencing dividers on exterior storage bays including gates, bollards, and electrical systems.
The project received an Above Average CCASS rating.
WALTER REED MEDICAL CENTER DATA CENTER UPGRADE
This design-build project in included an electrical power upgrade to an existing 7,000 square foot data center. Work included installing a new overhead exposed bus duct to allow immediate access and endless expansion for ever changing data rack components. Once the new system was operational, the old PDU system was removed. The project received an Above Average CCASS rating.
BRIDGE CARMOUCHE RANGE REPLACEMENT
This project consisted of constructing a new pre-cast concrete bridge spanning across the Upatoi River on Carmouche Range in Fort Benning, GA. Work also included filling the existing road bed to provide a passable maintenance vehicle traffic, providing a topographic land survey, pile testing, soil bearing tests, safety barriers, and erosion control. The project received an Above Average CCASS rating.
